lately...

in the past 11 days that i have not been blogging, i have:

• gone to play rehearsals
• turned in a history project
• danced to music on my ipod
• had my BIRTHDAY!!!
• went to the school dance on my birthday!!
• gotten some pretty rockin gifts :)
• eaten some AMAZING cake
• fainted on the bathroom floor from getting up too fast this morning
• gotten excited for Christmas

I wouldnt mind having a canary.

The sweetest little bird that sings songs all day.

Whenever i would get sad i could just listen to my canary.

How they hop around on their little stick legs :) it's hard not to smile.

I wouldnt mind loving my canary.

One that lived in its cage, happily singing away.

To wake up and feed it rainbow seeds that energize its tiny body.

Finding feathers in the bottom of the cage the same color as sunlight through the curtain.

I wouldnt mind taking care of my canary.

It would be my friend and we would exchange secrets.

It would greet me after school with a cheerful song that makes homework a little less dreadful.

When i need to have a social life without saying any words i can turn to my little yellow bird.

Would you mind having a canary?

Walking through the door after a stressful day at work and seeing an excited friend waiting for you?

Whispering little songs through the cage to hear similar sounds back.

Looking into the beady eyes of a true friend?

Truth is all that it knows :)

earlier this week i decorated some terribly bland 3D glasses that i had :)

i got this just a few minutes ago! so cute!

Like a movie.

Do you ever just think to yourself that maybe if your life was a movie, it would be a pretty good one? Or when you walk down the street or stick your head out of a car window that your life could so easily be a play? You can see the set around you: The large cameras around you, the lights angled directly on your face so they cast a sunshine like glow around you. With your iPod blasting, it's like in happy movies when the lead is walking on a cracked sidewalk with bouncy music playing and cars rushing by. Suddenly you notice all of the colors around you that would make the movie sparkle. You feel like dancing along beside the cars and bikers. Like a whip, reality comes crashing down on you and you snap back into the realization that no one is watching you. You are completely alone. No spectators. No audience. No crowd. No director. Life is just stringing itself along like the pearls on your neck. The cameras have disappeared and the people are gone. Leaving you walking on the old cement past faceless strangers who are more concerned with not getting robbed than enjoying the scenery as i do. I dont know how i would survive if i didnt like to be on stage. The world is just my stage and the people are my cameras. Make every moment an exciting one so as to please the cameras and yourself. Throw out the script-rewrite the day.

Remember when i cut my bangs cause i was spontaneous and brave? And i debated about whether or not i should get them? This could almost be the same shpeel.

Lastnight..

Last night, my sister and i had a fun little adventure.

it involved.....

wait.. haven't i been in this situation before?

My dearest mother has decided that she will give me $20 if i blog every day for the rest of November.

i can do this.

prepare to be amazed by my skills. I am going to blow you away by being a complete blogging machine- which lately i have been anyways. I am ready to take on the darkest of demons and kill the biggest creatures that stand in my way! NOTHING CAN STOP ME NOW.

Today im thankful for music and art. Without either i would be a lonely and possibly dead human being. The endless possibility to create :) how wonderful 

thankful for.. #2

i have many things to be thankful for in my life. one of these is that i can laugh at myself for making a mistake and just go with it. My ability of being able to dance in school hallways and especially during class is just truly wonderful. If i get a bad grade on a test ill just laugh and figure it out. If something makes me angry ill try to think of a disney song and, once again, start dancing. This doesn't always work but it sure is one way to cheer me up :)

Some of you will probably roll your eyes when you read the next sentence-just try to hear me out...

the dandelions are everywhere.

I went to school yesterday. Just a regular tuesday. Nothing special.

but when i got there they were literally flying EVERYWHERE. THOUSANDS. Im serious!! It was insane!! I felt almost responsible for this crazy act of nature (fate?) but what was i supposed to do? It was like i summoned them. The whole rest of the day i was singing "colors of the wind" cause i felt like Pocahontas :) 

little dandelion seeds were soaring through the sky and sticking to peoples clothes, hair, getting caught in spider webs, floating into classrooms. finding me.

Im seriously so confused and so amazed there's not even enough words to explain it. 

who ever says i need to find some help- i say that you need to go climb a tree and maybe then you'll realize.

all the times that i needed to talk to someone and they would listen no matter how crazy the conversation was :) this does include the dandelion stories.

Happy Halloween!!

Most people that know me probably know that i'm not a big fan of halloween. Dont even bother to ask me why cause i just cant explain it. Anyways, i decided to take some pictures today during drama cause we had nothing to do- seeing as we are doing the play and there's not much to do when not on stage.

those cuties ;)

but then..... when 7:23 came, my sister and i went on a short little adventure around the neighborhood- stopping at only maybe 3 houses. I'm very satisfied cause i got a king size pack sour-punch straws that i consumed merrily on the way home :)

 my plan for if anyone asked what i was i would be a very badly packaged twizzler cause of my AMAZING shirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
